RSPA umpire clinic scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 6:30 pm

RSPA needs NSA carded umpires for recreational coed slo-pitch league and tournaments.
We will train and card. You will be eligible to umpire any NSA league or tournament.
You will become a fully sanctioned NSA umpire, eligible to umpire any NSA league or tournament in Canada.
Cost for umpire carding and accreditation is $85.00. The RSPA umpire clinic is free to attend.
If you attend the RSPA umpire clinic, we will guarantee umpire bookings of at least your NSA carding cost
(we cannot guarantee parks or nights).
RSPA is an adult recreational, coed league, with parks in Mississauga-Etobicoke,
Monday to Friday, weekend tournaments available.
RSPA 2026 NEW umpire rates:
• $50 for a single game (no time limit);
• $95 for a double-header with time limit (starting 8:00/8:30 pm);
• $105 for a double header with no time limit (starting 6:30/7:30 pm);
• $150 for a triple-header (6:30 pm to 11:00 pm).
TOURNAMENT: $35 per game (usually 1:15 game slot) Saturday only one-day tournament.

The most amazing weather that you can imagine for in October. 32 teams in 6 divisions.
• Cubs (which were half Assassins) beat Draft Dodgers (half Taters) to win Coed D.
• RageX beat Looseballs to win Coed E-1.    • Dyno beat Wolfpack to win Coed E-2.
• Dirt Devils beat Gabagools to win Coed E-1 for back to back wins.
• Dyno beat Wolfpack to win Coed E-2.
• Jets beat team to win Coed F-1.
• Jim Teach Chairs beat Half Baked to win the Mens E division.
Last RSPA tournament of the year and thanks to all the teams that participted all year.

RSPA Slo-Pitch Tournament Results Saturday, September 27

Great day for ball, 34 teams all coed competing in 8 divisions from Coed-D to Coed-F3.
• Toms Timbits beat Pho House to win the Coed D1 division;
• Team Ultra (mostly Assassins) beat Your Base or Mine to win the Coed D2 division;
• Big Sticks beat Basic Pitches to win the Coed E-1 division;
• Schweddy Balls beat Bloodline to win the Coed E-2 division;
• Field of Beerz beat Bayside Tigers to win the Coed E-3 division;
• Dirt Devils beat Black and Yellow to win the Coed F-1 division;
• Mad Batters (not RSPA) beat Inglorious Batters to win the Coed F-2 division;
• BPM Dodgers-Monday beat Scotts Tots to win the Coed F-3 division;
Everybody had a good time and next and last tournament is Saturday, October 4.

RSPA team played in the NSA Coed Provincials in Hamilton September 19-21 and placed 9th out of 33 teams.

Another great day for ball, 38 teams all coed competing in 9 divisions from Coed D to Coed-F3.
• Krushers beat Hit Talkers 7-6 to win the Coed D division; an amazing division with some really close games.
• Mad Batters beat Bandits to win the Coed E-1 division;
• Warriors beat Pink Reefers to win the Coed E-2 division;
• Toronto Vice beat Saved By the Ball 16-15 in 12 innings to win the Coed E-3 division;
• Breaking Bats beat Ripper McGoos to win the Coed E-4 division;
• Blueberries beat Mad Batters (not RSPA) to win the Coed F-1 division;
• Purple Cobras beat One Lit Wonders to win the Coed F-2 division;
• Crazy Pitches beat Butcher Bar to win the Coed F-3 division;

What a great weekend!
91 teams even going against the NSA Provincials and a bunch of league playoff weekends. Scrambling for parks, scrambling for umpires.
Even had two umpires fly in on Westjet from Edmonton to umpire for the weekend. Thanks Dennis and Jeff! A couple of great guys!
• Scallywags beat Assassins to win Coed D with Yolowarmers and Pitch Slap (Tuxedo) in 3rd and 4th.

• Bang Bang beat Massive Hits to win Coed E1 with Unathletics and Moneyballers in 3rd and 4th.
• Bats n Mitts beat Hit or Swiss to win Coed E2 with Last Call and Superior Interiors in 3rd and 4th.
• Chicks n Dicks beat Ace of Bastoni to win Coed F1 with Unnecessary and Crazy Pitches in 3rd/4th.
