RSPA Slo-Pitch - Parks Ground Rules

RSPA GROUND RULES: Ground rules for specific parks/diamonds should be reviewed before each game by the umpire and the team representatives. All ground rules are subject to change. Additional ground rules may be applied as a result of temporary field conditions, weather, etc. Recommended ground rules for each park are appended to the Rules of Play.

• GROUND RULES:
  1. Ground rules for specific parks / diamonds should be reviewed before each game by the umpire and the team representatives.

  3. Additional ground rules may be applied as a result of temporary field conditions, weather, etc.
  4. Recommended ground rules for each park are appended to the Rules of Play.
• Completely fenced parks, greater than 225 feet: match plus two home run rule.
  - Brickyard Park #2; Dunton Park #1; Dunton Park #2, #3, #4; Garnetwood Park #1 (Hardball); Max Ward Park N & S; Sheridan Park;
• Completely fenced parks, 225 feet (or less) down the line: match plus two home run rule.
  - Birchwood Park; Fleetwood Park; Garnetwood Park #2 (Softball) (215 feet down the line); Meadowvale Park #3; Mississauga Valley Park #2; Mount Charles Park N & S; South Common Park N; Syntex Green Park; Wildwood Park #2;
• Partially fenced parks: match plus two home run rule over the fenced section.
  - Birchwood Park; Century City Park; Birch Park; Humberwood Park;
• Unfenced parks; no ground rules at this time:
  - Forest Glen Park; Forest Hill Park; Heritage Hills Park; Malton Village Park; Novo Star Park; Wildwood Park #1; Willowvale Park; Silverhill Park; Smithfield Park; West Deane Park #L; Wellesworth School;
• Recommended ground rules for parks with obstructions or short out of play area:
  1. Allison Park: short field; unfenced; but no ground rules at this time.
  2. King Park #1: out of play/hill in right field.
  3. Mimico Park: playground in left field; street in right field.
  4. West Deane Park #2: ditch in center-left field.
